Couldn’t Buy A Rolex Meteorite “Pepsi” So I Built One…Sort Of

With a retail price of nearly $43,000 and gray market prices easily pushing past the $60,000 mark I knew buying a 126719BLRO for myself was not a good financial decision, so I set out to build my own in a way. Using the Seiko NH34 movement as a base I sourced a meteorite dial and had it custom pad printed to display the “RELAX” parody logo. The dial is accompanied with a Mercedes style handset and a red GMT hand all lumed with BGW9 Swiss Super-LumiNova. Finally everything is cased up in a maxi style case and finished off with a red and blue ceramic 24 hour GMT bezel. I experienced a few setbacks throughout the process but the final product made them well worth it. Hope you enjoy the video.
