Xincun is Xiaochikan Administrative Village, Doumen Town, Doumen District, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province. Located on the western foothills of Huangyang Mountain and the eastern bank of the Hutiaomen Waterway in the northern part of the town, it is 6 kilometers from the town government seat and borders Dahuan Village and Wushi Village. Founded in the late Ming Dynasty, it was named after the later-established Jiucun Village. It was formerly known as Chaoyuanli. The villagers are mainly of the Yu family (who migrated from Yangjiang in 1840), the Zhao family (who migrated from Dachikan in the late Ming Dynasty), and the Zhang family (who migrated from Jiangmen in the Qing Dynasty). In 2015, the registered population was 803. The common Cantonese dialect is Siyi dialect. During the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Huangliangdu, Xiangshan County. It underwent administrative changes during the Republic of China period (Eighth District of Zhongshan County) and in 1958 (Doumen Commune). Since 2001, it has been under the jurisdiction of Xiaochikan Administrative Village, Doumen Town. In the early days of reform and opening up, the village primarily cultivated sugarcane and rice. Now, rice cultivation is the main agricultural activity. There are 65 existing traditional Cantonese houses, among which the Xincun Louzai and Yu Youhe's former residence, built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, are in relatively poor condition. The tomb of Ma Nanbao, a righteous man who resisted the Yuan Dynasty at the end of the Song Dynasty, is located on Aoyu Hill in the northwest of the village. Reconstructed in 1987, it was listed as a district-level cultural relic protection unit. The village completed road paving in 1987, gained access to running water in 1994, and achieved internet coverage in 2000. The village has the Xiaochikan New Village Elderly Activity Center and a village committee bookstore with approximately 250 books.
