Today is an Animal Kingdom theme park day and as its dropped colder we went with jeans and a sweater! I decided to do a Lion King bound complete with Disney ears and Loungefly mini backpack with Simba on the front. We walked over to Disney's Art of Animation resort to have breakfast there and look in their gift shop! :D They have character waffles including the little mermaid which are also themed to the lands of the resort. The lobby is STUNNING! When we entered Animal Kingdom, the Merry menagerie were out and about again, we saw the momma penguin with her babies and the beautiful reindeer. LOVE IT! Our first attraction / ride of the day was Expedition Everest to see a Yeti! On our way over to ride Dinosaur again (we love it!) we saw Kevin the bird from Pixar's UP. We then had a return time in Pandora – The World of Avatar for Flight of Passage. We were a bit late to see the Lion King show so went back to Pandora for Na'vi River Journey before hopping over to Animal Kingdom Lodge. We have stayed here before and its out favourite Disney resort. We ate in their quick service dinin location, The Mara and stopped off in the gift shop - are you shocked?!! Another quick hop over to Disney Springs in the evening as the park closes early and we tried a Goofy's glacier which was very yummy and sweet.
