Learn how easy testing transformer differential relays can be with Megger’s SMRT Relay Test Set while using the included RTMS Relay Test Management Software. In this part 1 or 3 video series, transformer nameplate and current transformer data are explained and entered in a test plan. All large transformers are protected by differential relays. The proper commissioning and routine testing of these differential relays help to ensure the long life expected of transformers. Though the relays are complex, Megger’s SMRT relay test set along with the included RTMS software makes performing these tests easy. You may use any of the three phase-test sets or you may daisy chain any combination of Megger’s single- or double-phase SMRTs to comprise a three-phase test set. This video will demonstrate how to enter the transformer nameplate and current transformer data to setup for a test. Megger’s family of SMRT relay test sets including the SMRT1, SMRT2, SMRT33, SMRT43, SMRT43D, SMRT46, SMRT46D, SMRT410, SMRT410D, SMRT2, SMRT2D, SMRT36, SMRT36D, and MPRT along with RTMS (Relay Test Management Software) provide all the tools you need to test all types of differential protection relays. Megger’s RTMS Relay Test Management Software provides the tools you need to create a full body relay settings page regardless of the complexity of your relay. It includes a tool to directly download settings from Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) relays over serial and other relays which support relay settings over Modbus, such as most GE Multilin relays. You may also import several setting file types including XRIO, TEAX, ERL L-Pro, ERL T-Pro and generic CSV files. Overcurrent relays, overvoltage relays, undervoltage relays and all differential relay test features can be added to the test report with the push of a button. Other test features such as Ramping and the Sequencer will add all settings to the test report automatically. Whether you test relays for the company you work for or you are a test engineer contractor, Megger’s RTMS software helps you ensure test records are complete and accurate. find out more https://bit.ly/3r74MMX Website: http://www.megger.com/ Subscribe: https://goo.gl/QpaUNy US Technical Support: 214 330 3519 E: [email protected] US Sales Support: 800 723 2861 E: [email protected]
