Welcome to part seven of the restoration of Shorty, a 1965 Series IIA Land Rover. In this video, I fit the new rear crossmember to the chassis. Shorty had been sitting in a pile of brambles for two years, having failed her last MoT on excessive chassis corrosion, until I dragged her out to start the repairs. I am intending to carry out the repairs necessary to get Shorty back on the road, and then I'll carry out further work to her on a 'rolling restooration' basis.
