Horrific incident in Bengaluru, 6-yr-old girl raped and murdered; accused arrested | News9

In a horrific incident, a 6-year-old girl was brutally raped and murdered in Bengaluru’s Hoysala Nagar. The accused, identified as Abhishek Kumar, who worked as a construction labourer, apparently lured the girl and took her to a secluded place and raped her. Abhishek was caught red-handed by the mother of the girl and as he tried to escape he was caught by a group of passers by and was thrashed and subsequently handed over to the police. Meanwhile, the mother reached out to her child, but the girl had already succumbed to her injuries. The police has booked the accused under the POCSO act and under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita. ..............................................................................................
