Stone Blind | Is Medusa still getting the short end?

If you want to actually see me talking about the books I review on a weekly basis on my podcast, then this is the place to do it. I am a huge fan of a mythology retelling (in fact, if you think about it, even the original tales by Hesiod, Homer and Ovid were retellings of stories they'd heard around the camp fire). Over the years there have been more and more. of them, and I can't seem to stop picking them up off the shelves. This week I am talking about Natalie Haynes' 2022 mythological retelling of Medusa and Perseus. But does Medusa get a fair swing at the bat this time around, or is it still all about the hero who ends her life? As ever, I won't reveal the ending (even though it's not exactly a secret), and I am going to be 100% honest in my opinion of the book. I would love to hear what you think about Stone Blind.
