Nono decides to leave and take some time off as she's pretty bummed that she still doesn't get to pilot a Buster Machine of her own. Before leaving, Nono runs into Shinji who argues that she doesn't need a Buster Machine to still be able to fight. Nono then runs into Casio who accompanies her to the moon. After dealing with the initial wave of Space Monsters, enemy reinforcements arrive in the form of the STMC and more Space Monsters. However, the STMC immediately wipes out the Space Monsters. Apparently, they're not in the same group or species. More STMC arrive and meanwhile, while on the moon, Casio shows Nono the ruins of his Buster Machine. Casio tries desperately to re-activate it again but its pointless since his time as a Topless is over. Nono hears Lal'C's call for help and does the impossible. Nono warps to Z-BLUE's location and reveals herself as Buster Machine 7. Turns out that all the Space Monsters that Z-BLUE and the Topless have been fighting are actually the Buster Corps, an automated defense system that mistook the Topless for Space Monsters and were built to protect the solar system from the STMC. With the arrival of Buster Machine 7, the Buster Corps are now back under control. Nono then makes a long speech about how she was an idiot in believing that having a Buster Machine was important and that what's actually important is one's belief in his own strength till the end. Lastly, a true Buster Pilot, a true Nonoriri, has a Buster Machine in her heart. She then proceeds to one-shot a large STMC with a Buster Beam. After the battle, Nono rejoins Z-BLUE, now with more strength and conviction.
