Toraiz SQUID - secuencing Behringer Neutron - bass (track 1) Modal Cobalt8m - brassy pluck thing (track 3) Modal Argon8m - pad (track 4) Roland TR-8 - drums (tracks 9-16) There are a ton of features that I didn't use here. Every pattern is just 16 steps, although some are set to a longer clock division (i.e. quarter notes instead of 16ths). At first glance, the SQUID seems very rhythm focused, so it's odd that it doesn't have a proper drum track type. Each track is just a polyphonic sequence, so you technically COULD program drums all in one track, but it would essentially just look like chords. By splitting my drums out over the lower 8 pads, I get more granular control over muting sounds, or setting different pattern variations (which I did not do). This sequencer is a lot of fun. It's intuitive to use, but not as fast as the Zaquencer. But this slightly slower workflow makes me slow down just a bit to focus on making the patterns. I'm excited to put in more time with this sequencer!
