A Modular Project in Beach Combat On the southwest coast of Puerto Rico, in one of the most privileged beachfront areas, KEU is currently developing a new residential concept composed of two independent KEU Family modules, fully manufactured in Spain and designed to withstand the Caribbean climate with minimal maintenance requirements. The client, who already owns several traditional concrete homes, was seeking a different kind of solution: a modern, low-maintenance residence with no construction delays, no noise, and no on-site complications. The KEU proposal combines architectural precision with functional elegance: • One module serves as a fully equipped private residence, designed for year-round living. • The second module functions as a personal gym, built with proper ventilation, insulation, and technical infrastructure for daily use. The two units are connected by a custom ground-level platform, finished with advanced composite panels that transform the space between them into a central outdoor living area. The layout was carefully planned to take full advantage of natural light, vegetation, and coastal airflow— without the need to directly face the ocean. The result is an architecture that embraces its environment without dominating it. The project is now in production at our factory in Spain: from steel welding and structural assembly to aluminum cladding, integrated interiors, HVAC, smart systems, and custom furnishings— everything is built, tested, and refined under industrial precision before shipping. Once completed, the modules will be shipped overseas and installed on-site within hours. No construction, no delays, no margin for error. This project reflects KEU’s core value: a plug-and-play architectural solution built to European standards for those who value comfort, efficiency, and timeless design.
