It definitely applies more to beginners, but proper cymbal stand set up is still important and shouldn't be totally avoided by more experienced drummers. I go over different types of cymbal stands and their best capabilities, as well as other practical tips to save you time behind your drums. Whether its how to set up a boom cymbal stand or a straight one, I got you covered using both of my Tama cymbal stands as examples. I wanted to make this video applicable, so that is why I show you what my setup looks like after I put on the cymbals.
