‘1982’ The 82’ Collection/Physical Media Talk/Random Thoughts…!!!’

Part I: Let’s talk…. TCM/A24 Update, Aja, Miike, etc… ‘Physical Media’, specifically my ‘82’ Collection,’ the Horror I have from 1982. I often stress a major aim of my ‘collection’ is in fact an emphasis on ‘Quality v. Quantity’.. It’s not necessarily how much you have but what you have. Same goes for that particular ‘Year’ you build into your collection. For some, you get it from where you can get it. For others though, we gotta go ‘Amazon’ or ya get lucky out in the wild…. Sometimes though a buddy comes through and blesses you, that’s always pretty cool. Maybe you even order out of country, cause honestly a lot of times things aren’t in print anymore here in the US, but you definitely can pick it up from say Germany or the UK… For me, the films from 1982 is just another hobby of mine, perhaps it goes back to my very fun memories of renting VHS tapes at the local video shop, one shop in particular will always hold that very special place in my heart. As well, being born in 70’, the 80s were something to behold, especially 1982… Whatever it is, I do enjoy picking one up from time to time. So Enjoy!!!🍻 ~ VHS82’ Cinema is everything to me.
