Rally Costa Smeralda 1986 / Henri's Final Victory

The Rally Costa Smeralda 1986 was a non WRC round but part of the European and Italian Rally Championships. Lancia sent a single works Delta S4 for Henri and Sergio. Henri led from the start although on the second day the Supercharger failed and Henri and Sergio had to make roadside repairs with instructions from the mechanics over the radio to bypass the Supercharger. The Delta S4's engine now only gave power in the higher rev range when the Turbo kicked in so Henri had to drive alot wilder into the corners to no loose too much time. By the end he kept his lead and won the rally by just thirty-six seconds.
