Hello everyone! Here is a compilation of action of Norfolk Southern Trains in Toledo, Ohio, at Toledo Union Station. This is the NS Chicago Line (ex-New York Central Water Level Route) from Cleveland to Chicago, one of the busiest mainlines in the United States with about 70 trains a day going past this spot. On this sunny and rather warm day, I caught a handful of trains, half of them with UP foreign power. There were also a few problems with the Chicago Line while I was there. About 1,000 feet east of this spot, NS was doing trackwork on the westbound track, which delayed the action for about 30 minutes. Because of this, all trains had to go on the eastbound track and the line was single-tracked for about an hour. Hysterically, this caused even more problems. After the second train (an eastbound steel train) went by the station, the whole PTC system through this area went berserk. The issue was the NS Chicago Line tracks through this area generally acts as strictly east-west; eastbounds use the near track and westbounds use the far track. This eastbound went on the westbound track and the system wasn't set up in anticipation for that. Fortunately, it didn't take too long to fix the issues, though it was rather unusual to see it happened. All in all, I saw a decent amount of action for a 2-3 hour time period there. Hope you enjoy the video! Norfolk&Western475 (N&W475)
