Grand Lake and SPAR During Rush Hour

Here is a video of the Grand Lake Rd & Hwy 125 intersection during rush hour, running its lead/lag sequence for the main and side roads. This intersection will be receiving multiple upgrades this year, including fully protected left turns, upgraded crosswalk infrastructure, new APS and better highway lighting. New vehicle detection will also be installed, as this portion of the road is getting repaved. Here's a link to a walkaround video I did before I was working with the department and a number of issues I have with this intersection, I'm actually fixing. This intersection was included in Nova Scotia's 5 year plan for major improvements, so this set of lights will work much more efficiently and operate much safer in the coming months.
