Homemade one-string washtub banjo bass!

Behold the washtub banjo bass! I'm pretty dang happy with how this thing turned out! And that we found a good use for this washtub before it completely rusted away. The bass sounds surprisingly good on the recording of the song I'm working on! It was very easy to build, partially because of how simple the design is, and partially because my dad did most of the work, hee hee hee. I bet if I practiced some, I could play this in a jam! Maybe I'll get my ensemble to feature it on one of our songs this semester. Let me know in the comments if you've ever built something like this!
