Max Montrose and Andrew Livingston have dedicated their lives to drug education, activism, and policy reform since they where in high school and currently play active rolls in the marijuana movement. Andrew and Max will discuss how to apply these best practices learned to psychedelic policy reform. Learn about the state of psychedelic education in America and discuss regulatory models for the medical, spiritual, and adult-use of these substances. Montrose is an authoritative voice for the cannabis industry with over 8 years of industry experience. Max has been an educational adviser to government, business, and public sectors, specializing in cannabis safety, education, and awareness. Max is the author of the National Cannabis Industry Textbook which has been reviewed and approved by industry-leading lawyers, doctors, and scientists. He educates everyone about the truths and complexities of cannabis culture and its industry. He is a founder of the Trichome Institute, a cannabis educational content provider for the cannabis industry, public, and more. The Trichome Institute provides standardized cannabis trainings for employees and produces educational tools and learning manuals for all types of cannabis consumers. Max also developed the sommelier approach to dissecting cannabis variety types, called Interpening. Andrew Livingston serves as a policy analyst for Vicente Sederberg LLC where he provides analysis on legal and regulatory matters as well as economic market projections for adult-use and medical marijuana laws in Colorado and around the world. He first worked alongside the Vicente Sederberg team in 2012 during the historic Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol campaign, which legalized marijuana for adults in Colorado. Andrew started his career in drug policy while at Colgate University and founded a chapter of Students for Sensible Drug Policy in 2009. During this time he focused his academic studies on the economics of illegal markets and the harms they create for societies around the world. In addition to his work at Vicente Sederberg, Andrew serves as the associate researcher for ArcView Market Research's "State of Legal Marijuana Markets Report".
