While colonialism at its root is intended to divide and conquer, Associate Clinical Professor of Student Affairs and Harold R. W. Benjamin Professor Candace M. Moore offers a worldview that centers Black liberation and promotes collaboration to achieve a more equitable and prosperous society. She explains why U.S. education scholars should collaborate in culturally conscious ways with their colleagues in Africa and use the philosophies embedded in Black liberation to undergird sustainable partnerships. Moore shares her experiences with liberatory practices in global learning that have taken her on a professional and personal journey–and she reflects on reimagining global learning every step of the way.
