Yet hope rose within her heart when she heard that Jesus was near. Pressing through the crowd, she did not shout for attention. She did not demand a public miracle. In quiet desperation and bold faith, she reached out and touched the hem of His garment. And immediately, the flow of blood stopped. Power had gone out from Him. The Father’s compassion moved through the Son’s presence, and healing flowed at the touch of faith. Jesus did not allow her to remain hidden. He called her forward—not to shame her, but to restore her fully. “Take heart, daughter,” He said. In that word, she was no longer an outcast. She was family. Her story reminds us that faith does not need to be loud to be powerful. It only needs to reach toward Christ. No suffering is too long. No condition too hopeless. The Savior responds to sincere trust.
