Thank you all so much for watching! Yes, another month rolls by and my hopes for a quicker project turnout were dashed... but that's my life right now. On the bright side, I got a new camera after the old one stopped focusing on objects more than 5 feet away. Let me know if you like the new picture! This is my 29th filmed project. I had been wanting to try another cube theory project, but the amount of wasted wood from the typical cube turning drives me nuts. So, I chose to waste resin instead... literally. It started with a horrible miscalculation, in which I mixed exactly twice as much resin as I needed, and when I realized I had a bucket of resin left over and a ticking clock, it was too late to do anything about it. In fact, I tried mixing in more pigment and before I knew it the mixer pulled out a glob of curing resin. Check out my Instagram (@adamsen_woodcraft) for the pic. Anyway, the project went fairly easily until I decided to use lacquer as the final finish. Well, it's getting too cold in Maine for lacquer to cure properly, and it got somewhat cloudy. I don't think the final finish is horrible, but it isn't ideal. I simply ran out of the time and patience required to fix it. Again, thank you all for watching.
