How to Test a Fuel Shut-off Solenoid

Step by Step! In today's video, I'll be showing you how to test a riding lawn mower fuel shut off solenoid. This test is super simple, and you'll only need a couple of things! 1. A minimum of 9 volts of power (I'm using a 9v battery). 2. A couple wires (I'm using the back up battery plug from an old alarm clock). Simply supply the 9v minimum to the negative and positive connectors, and the solenoid should move. If it just has 1 connector, then supply your positive to that connector, and put your ground wire to the base of the solenoid, thus completing the circuit.
