Baja Overland - Part 9: Bahía de las Animas

Following a night in Bahía de los Ángeles, we briefly rejoined the Baja Divide Trail before turning off to Bahía de las Animas. Hurricane Hilary damage was very evident, although varying degrees of repair and by-passes made the route passable. We did have some difficulty following the trail to Animas, mainly due to hurricane damage, overgrowth, and inattention when following existing tire tracks. But the final destination was well worth the effort - we ended up spending three nights alone on the beach (other than seeing some fisherfolk in the bay).
