Henry came along but only because we convinced him it wouldn't be too cold - we were wrong. Some might say we are mad - but testing your winter set up is so important. From sleeping bags to stoves, packing and organising we got a clear idea of what our kit could do for longer haul journeys. It was great to see what my Sea Kayaking UK Romany Excel could swallow. Plenty of space left for more! But the real reason for this getaway was to enjoy the cold North Down air on an isolated stretch of land - being one with nature - at least for one clear night! --- Thanks for joining Joe, the Adventuring Irishman.
