Ottapalam: In a major embarrassment for CPM, a rebel convention was held in Mannur in Ottapalam. As many 500 CPM rebels participated in the convention including women which was called to protest the action taken against local leaders. Meanwhile, official leadership said that action will be taken against those who attended at the rebel convention. The party action against local committee former KV Raveendran and Mannur Panchayath former president N Shakaranarayanan is the reason for the protest.
