Solo Bushcraft Fishing & Wild Cooking – Spring Outdoor Trip
Spring is finally here! The snow is gone, the sun is shining, and it’s the perfect time for a bushcraft trip. I ventured into the forest to spend a night in the wilderness, relying on natural materials and basic survival skills. First, I built a primitive shelter using flexible branches, shaping them into a dome and covering it with dry reeds and grass for insulation. Once my camp was ready, I set off to catch some fish. With fresh fish in hand, I returned to camp, made a fire, and roasted them over open flames. To complete the evening, I brewed coffee on the fire and settled in for the night. The next morning, I woke up to a peaceful forest, cooked some meat over the fire, and enjoyed another cup of hot coffee. Before leaving, I made sure to clean up my campsite, packed all my gear, and left no trace. This trip was a perfect blend of bushcraft, nature, and relaxation.
