DJI Neo has arrived to take over the HoverAir X1 crown or has it? I use the HoverAir X1 for my cycling video and since day one praised the tracking but hated the video quality. DJI has finally released a HoverAir competitor the DJI NEO and from the get go it mostly ticks all the boxes for me in regard to video quality, some work on software for the tracking needs to be done IMO by DJI I take the DJI NEO around a cross country mountain & gravel bike track and see how far the DJI NEO can follow me! The HoverAir X1 could never make it around this course but will the Neo? I use the HoverAir X1 for my cycling video's and since day one praised the tracking but hated the video quality. DJI has finally released a HoverAir competitor the DJI NEO and from the get go it mostly ticks all the boxes for me in regard to video quality, some work on software for the tracking needs to be done IMO by DJI but for the most part here is a video of the DJI Neo in action tracking me around a tricky wooded mountain bike cross country course. As in my previous video's comment section - I have set the DJI NEO to -0.2 EV and -2 Sharpness - In my editor I have also tweaked the colours slightly to bring up the contrast a little.
