Dan Cleary: Art on the Commons 2021

Dan Cleary is a photographer based in the Dayton area, whose commercial work has made Cleary Creative Photography a staple for capturing life’s moments for over 30 years. Cleary has expanded his practice to include fine art processes, and his digital artwork series, My Wright Brothers: Then and Now, explores the past and present of Dayton’s most celebrated aviators. Dan Cleary is one of 10 artists represented in the 33rd annual Art on the Commons festival at Rosewood Arts Centre. This year's hybrid event will be taking place from September 13 - November 20 in-person at Rosewood Arts Centre, as well as online at www.playkettering.org/aotc. We're excited to showcase the region's best ceramics, digital art, fiber/leather, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture, works on paper and wood creations. Art on the Commons is presented by Rosewood Arts Centre, with support from the City of Kettering Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts, the Kettering Parks Foundation, the Kettering Arts Council and the Ohio Arts Council.
