COVID-19 News: India's COVID Active Cases Spike Over 3,000 With 4 Deaths Reported | Corona Virus The number of active Covid-19 cases in India touched the 3,000-mark, with the tally at 3,395 and four deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Saturday. According to the Health Ministry data, four deaths - one each in Delhi, Kerala, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh - were reported in the country in the past 24 hours. In Delhi, a 71-year-old man died after he was diagnosed with pneumonia, septic shock and acute kidney injury. A 63-year-old man, also battling pneumonia, septic shock and other diseases, died in Karnataka. In Kerala, a 59-year-old man battling with pneumonia, Type-II respiratory failure and sepsis, also lost his life.
