I Didn’t Rush Past This — A Promise to God Fulfilled

Something happened recently that I couldn’t rush past. Not because it was about me — but because it reminded me how God shows up in ordinary moments, and how promises made in one season can be fulfilled in another. Years ago, during a difficult time in my life, a stranger paid for my groceries when I didn’t have enough. In that moment, I made a promise to God — that if I were ever in a position to do the same for someone else, I would. Recently, I found myself in that very moment again — on the other side of the blessing. This video isn’t about recognition or praise. It’s about faithfulness, obedience, and what happens when we don’t rush past opportunities to serve, even when we don’t fully understand why they matter in the moment. I went to the Word afterward to see how Scripture speaks to this experience, and I share the verses that helped ground what I felt and witnessed — not to interpret them for you, but so you can read them for yourself.
