Marijuana Specialist Says Government Can Make Millions In Taxes From Legalising Marijuana

Government can make big bucks from the legalisation of marijuana for both medical and recreational purposes. So says Certified Marijuana Specialist, Marcus Ramkissoon, who told TTT's Now Morning Programme that he's prepared to give the Government assistance when it comes to relaxing the laws on marijuana production and sales. He says he has proposed a system which has been accepted by the Ministry of Health to guide the process to legalising the plant. It will help with regularising the drug while ensuring Government makes money from its legal status. Mr. Ramkissoon says his model has marijuana being sold in a regulated market that is guaranteed to keep prices so low that the black market will find it difficult to compete.
