LG Breton (guitars & vocals) reunites with longtime friends/colleagues Simon Dolan (bass), François Therrien (accordeon) and Alain Quirion (drums) to record a quarantine version of Daniel Lanois' classic, "Jolie Louise". Daniel Lanois was born in 1951 in Hull, Québec, Canada (now a district of the City of Gatineau, where LG grew up). Singer-Songwriter; multi-instrumentalist and ace producer (Peter Gabriel; U2; Neil Young; Bob Dylan, etc.) he is certainly the most influential figure in contemporary music to ever come out of the Outaouais region. Growing up listening to his work, Lanois certainly was a major inspiration for LG who, years later, would also become a singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist and music producer. This rendition of the autobiographical "Jolie Louise" is LG Breton & Friends' humble tribute to Mr Lanois' childhood spent "East of Gatineau".
