Clutch Upgrade – 2025 CFMOTO 450MT | Judder Spring Delete + New Springs This video is for a guide only! I am not a professional and cannot guarantee my information is accurate. In this video, I replace the clutch on a nearly brand-new 2025 CFMOTO 450MT and share some insights for those considering a similar upgrade. We removed the judder spring and the small inner friction disc, replacing them with a full-sized friction disc to start the clutch pack. If you’re planning to do the same, you’ll need to order one extra full-size friction disc (CFMOTO part number ODMB-051210). I also discovered that the stock clutch springs were already out of spec, despite the bike being almost new. I reached out to EBC Brakes, and they told me that their CSK-203 springs should fit and provide increased clamping force. Note: I haven’t tested these yet, so proceed at your own risk. This video is meant as a general guide based on my experience—I’m not a professional mechanic, so take everything with a grain of salt. Hopefully, the combination of a revised clutch stack and stiffer springs will help this undersized clutch last longer!
