Omnimodal: Human, Machine, Music is an immersive live performance presented by Art Farm at Serenbe that explores what happens when technology becomes a creative partner rather than a passive tool. Through experimental music, spatial audio, live electronics, generative systems, and real-time visual performance, Omnimodal transforms the concert hall into a living instrument. Musicians, visual artists, and technologists collaborate with systems that listen, interpret, and respond in the moment — allowing sound and image to unfold dynamically around the audience. In this video, go behind the scenes with the artists shaping Omnimodal, including lead artist and director Kyle Smith, as they discuss the creative process, the role of human gesture and machine response, and why this work can only truly be experienced live. Featuring piano, trumpet, guitar, electronics, live illustration, robotic sound, and immersive visuals, the performance unfolds across distinct movements — each a dialogue between human intention and computational response. This project brings together artists from Georgia Tech and SCAD Atlanta working at the intersection of music, technology, and visual art. 🎶 Omnimodal: Human, Machine, Music 📍 Gainey Hall, Art Farm at Serenbe 📅 Live performance: March 7, 2026 🔔 Subscribe for more artist conversations, live performance features, and behind-the-scenes looks at immersive art and music.
