In today’s world, employees are increasingly unmotivated for good reasons. Often times, jobs aren’t fulfilling and there is little incentive to go above and beyond given the slow pay raise structure. Due to this and other factors in my life, I decided to “Quiet Quit” my job to make a transition to full time entrepreneurship. It gave me more time to pursue my passions and interests, freed up my mental energy, and more. I didn’t totally check out at work, I simply just put in exactly what was expected, no more, and no less. We aren’t obligated to go above and beyond if we don’t want to!
