Baboon VST (Demo available at http://www.mokafix.com ) is based on a rare vintage pedal. It features a treble booster and a fuzz channel, each with its own input gain control. Treble booster channel actually bypasses the fuzz stage, and provides a warm tone and enhances the signal high frequencies slightly. Fuzz channel engages the full circuitry, and gives a very hi gain fuzzy sustain. Fuzz channel "tone" control has two modes. One that features a classic hi cut filtering, and a second mode providing a heavily scooped tone. All these features makes that effect very colorful and unique both in terms of tone and in the fact it let you switch from a highly distorted sound to warm bluesy treble booster.
