Listening to the score, yet again, while editing this. One of my very favorites is the song titled ‘Where we’re going’ which plays in the VERY last moments before the credits. Specifically the last 10-20 seconds… CHILLS. It’s the grand finale, with everything coming to a close, and played over Murphy speaking about how Brand is somewhere out there in another galaxy. Oh and Cornfield Chase. Oh and No Time for Caution of course. Oh, and all the other songs. How do I watch this for the first time again?????!!!! 😩😩😩😩😩 I had the privilege of seeing Hans Zimmer in concert when he did his US tour. Insert that Spongebob transcending meme to represent me when he started Interstellar. One of my very favorite quotes is when Cooper says "We used to look up at the sky and wonder at our place in the stars. Now we just look down and worry about our place in the dirt." ▪️ Goodreads: / olivia ▪️ Instagram: / livvie_simone ▪️ Twitter: / livvie_simone ▪️ Email: [email protected] still feel like talking. I've been wanting to get this out for months (specifically on the day that marked it's 7th year since release) but alas, such is life. So I am just extremely excited to push publish on this and chat with people about this. Question: K, for plan B- if Dr. Brand (the old one) believed plan A would never work, was his expectation that their small crew would then raise that entire future population?? This is something that really puzzles me. Like at the end- Dr. Brand (young one) has begun plan B, but once the embryos become full grown babies and need to be cared for.... that seems like an awful lot of work? And what about supplies/food for them all (unless they found a great planet with soil for food)??? If we are talking even starting with 20 babies, Brand is supposed to raise them all? And I imagine it may be much more than that... #Interstellar #bookrecommendations
