Today’s walk was filmed on March 3rd, 2026, on a bright sunny day along the beautiful Redondo Beach coastline in the South Bay of Los Angeles. This route begins along the scenic Redondo Beach Esplanade near Miramar Drive, a bluff-top path overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the wide sandy beaches below. With sweeping ocean views, sea breezes, and classic Southern California coastal scenery, the Esplanade is one of the most peaceful walking routes in the South Bay. From the Esplanade we descend down the Avenue I ramp, which connects the bluff-top neighborhood down to the shoreline. Once at beach level, the walk continues along the Redondo Beach coastal path, where the sand, ocean, and rolling waves stretch out beside us. After enjoying the beach walk, we climb the well-known Topaz Street stairs, gaining elevation back up the bluff and revealing beautiful views of the coastline below. From the top of the stairs we return to the Esplanade, continuing the bluff-top walk before finishing the route near Camino De La Costa. This walk captures several layers of Redondo Beach — bluff-top ocean views, the peaceful beach path below, and the hillside neighborhood overlooking the coast. 🌴 About Redondo Beach Located in the South Bay region of Los Angeles County, Redondo Beach is known for its laid-back surf culture, wide sandy beaches, and beautiful coastal walking paths.
