In this video, I take the DWARF 3 smart telescope high onto Annoch Mòr in the Scottish Highlands — 1200m above sea level, with wind chills hitting -16°C. This isn’t backyard testing. This is real mountain exposure. From a winter wild camp in full alpine conditions, I put the DWARF 3 through its paces — setting up in freezing wind, tracking deep space objects from the plateau, and capturing detail far beyond what the naked eye can see. In this film you’ll see: • How I use the DWARF 3 on a remote wild camp • My real-world workflow for deep space tracking • Capturing the Pleiades star cluster at 4000ft • Telephoto lunar shots in sub-zero temperatures • The challenges of astrophotography in true winter conditions With spindrift racing across the mountain and darkness closing in fast, this became one of the most atmospheric camps I’ve filmed. There’s something powerful about standing alone in the Scottish Highlands, under Arctic-like skies, while tracking objects thousands of light-years away. — 📍 Location: Annoch Mòr, Scottish Highlands 🏔 Elevation: ~4000ft / 1200m 🌡 Wind Chill: -16°C 🔭 Featuring: DWARF 3 Smart Telescope - https://dwarflab.com/en-gb/products/d... — If you enjoy cinematic wild camping, winter mountain adventures, and deep space photography from extreme locations, consider subscribing for more. #DWARF3 #Astrophotography #WildCamping #ScottishHighlands #WinterCamping #DeepSpace
