A customer mailed this pair of Chippewa snake boots to us for a bit of an overhaul. He wanted to upgrade soles, which is what we accomplished. The soft, crepe Vibram soles that were on the boots wear out quickly, and when you're in nature, potentially around a venomous snake, that's not the time to have a sole blow out on you. Per the customers request, we added durable and rugged Vibram Montagna soles. We also gave these boots a bit of an upgrade with the German pit tanned leathers we used for the midsoles.
