Panorama to Rim Run to Lookin' Good to Which Way to Straight Shot is a ski run of varying difficulties located at Sugarbush Resort. The trails run from the summit of Mount Ellen, down to the Mount Ellen Base Area. The run starts off the back of the summit on Panorama, a short intermediate trail that swoops to the right with a gradual pitch. The trail then merges onto Rim Run, another intermediate trail, which features a slight pitch followed by a flat section. After this, the trail turns to the right and continues straight to the right of the top of the North Ridge Express Quad. Eventually, I took a left off of the trail onto Lookin' Good, another intermediate trail, which runs underneath the Summit Quad. Near the bottom of the chairlift, the trail turns to the right, briefly joining back up with Rim Run before arriving at the bottom of the Summit Quad and the top of the Green Mountain Express Quad near the Glen House Lodge. I then continued straight through this area, taking the first turn to the right after a small dip onto Which Way, another intermediate trail. Which Way features multiple short rolling pitches as it runs down the mountain with a few curves. The trail eventually comes to an intersection at the bottom of the North Ridge Express Quad and the Mount Ellen station of the Slide Brook Express Quad, where I stayed to the slight right to ski onto Straight Shot, a beginner trail. Straight Shot is a narrow and mellow trail that runs directly underneath the bottom half of the Green Mountain Express Quad until it arrives at the base area. Sugarbush Resort is a ski area located in Warren, Vermont. The ski area is one of two located in Northern Vermont's Mad River Valley (the other being nearby Mad River Glen). The ski area is located just a few minutes south of the nearby town of Waitsfield, about 40 minutes southwest of the state capital, Montpelier, and about an hour southeast of the state's largest city, Burlington. The resort is comprised of two semi-sperate ski areas, Lincoln Peak and Mount Ellen. The two are connected by one of the longest chairlifts in the world, the Slide Brook Express Quad, on which the ride between the two areas is just under 15 minutes. Lincoln Peak is the more popular and built-up side of the resort and is home to a wide variety of intermediate and advanced terrain off the Super Bravo and Heaven's Gate lift, lots of family-oriented terrain off the Gate House Express Quad, and the famous experts only natural terrain area of the resort, Castlerock Peak. On the other side, Mount Ellen has a more local feel and terrain of all kinds and for all ability levels off most of its chairlifts. The resort is owned by Alterra and is therefore on the Ikon Pass with pass holders receiving unlimited visits to the resort.
