An Avionics Technician's Guide The Cutlass Black One of the most popular medium sized ships that the game can offer new players, possessing multi role capabilities and available year round in game, and on the website Think of it as a gateway ship, after you get a feel for what role you enjoy the most, you can then invest in a role dedicated ship later down the road. To me it is as if The cutlass Black is more the a medium fighter and freighter It is a players first steps into the jack of all trades realm. Providing a stable platform for mission running, cargo hauling and combat utility. The Cutlass Black can provide flexibility for the solo players, and friends who want a multi crew experience without breaking the bank. We will start off with our normal preflight walkaround, examining the standard weapons package an internal walkaround in conjunction with aircrew fighting positions, reviewing the flight deck, analyze flight performance, and wrapping the video with tactics. As for tactics This thing is multirole And with the analysis we go through in the video i firmly believe The Cutlass Black can be a poor man's gunship. It doesn't have the same amount of damage output like a traditional gunship would with its missile spam but The Cutlass Black can hold troops and make up firepower for cargo and supplies for allies. If you decide to use The Cutlass Black as a gunship ir dropship its best that you have your RIO manage the shields as such, and have your turret manned, keep your engines away from your adversaries and keep your distance use your missiles to your advantage and coordinate with your crew. With heat and degradation in 3.5 you can at least make fighters retreat because you have a independent person micromanaging the systems while the pilot and gunner lay down fire power. Fighters dont if the overheat theier systems they will loose performance, you wont be able to just overclok willy nilly As a dropship The Cutlass Black can loiter with its turret and use its missiles and gimballed or fixed weapons to assist with ground vehicles. As a medium fighter, in a solo situation id go for the 4 fixed size 3 energy weapons instead … keeping a range of 500 meters to 800 meters and hurt them enough with missles to the point where i can clean up a ship with my guns, again your tactics so your decisions What are your thoughts?? I was an MV-22 avionics technician in the Marine Corps (6326) and now a functional test tech (34107) on the 737 program at The Boeing Company ** please be advised things are subject to change by the time the game is a final product, ship can and WILL change as needed by CIG*** I enjoy making content centered around analyizing ships and game mechanics that affect the ship as well. Overall i have had some great feedback from this series, and i'd love to hear yours. I'm always trying to push myself and create content that is more than stating facts, its to help people figure out what role they want to play, and if the ship in question really fits the niche they desire. #seerthe6th #cutlassblack #anavionicstechniciansguide
