Walkthrough by Bermy Beastiary: Charybdis (Boss - 1,000 HP) Gisshan (Boss - 800 HP) Scylla (Boss - 1,000 HP) Enemy Skills: 20:44 - Wall of Fire (Charybdis / Scylla) 00:00 - World Map Go up the ramp just beneath Rhapala, then head right and up to enter Mt. Zublo. 00:14 - Mt. Zublo Ignore the stairs in front of you for now and go all the way to the right to find a chest containing a Protein (00:26). Return to the stairs and walk up them, then go right instead of entering the large door. Follow the path, then go right at the first fork, followed by left at all other forks until you can enter the mountainside. Avoid the pressure vents in the ground/wall as well as the lava on the floor for the most part. Follow the path all the way right, then enter the first cavern above you. Follow the narrow path to the end (or just run across the lava) to open a chest containing Asbestos Armor (02:51), which negates all fire damage. I chose to put it on Momo so she has more survivability in here. Go back out the way you came, then go to the top right across some lava to find a chest containing 800 zenny (03:38). Return back down and go past the cave, then follow the path down and to the left to reach another cave entrance. From here, go to the right then go down a little to find a small ledge that you can run down. There will be yellow pressure vents here. Being hit by them inflicts confusion, which can be a pain. If you get hit with it, simply run back and forth until it wears off. Slide down the first ramp and go to the right, then slide down another ramp with yellow pressure vents to reach a chest containing a Ring of Fire (08:38). I recommend giving this to Peco as it counters his fire weakness and instead he will be healed. Jump off the ledge then go to the left to find small ladders leading back up to above where the yellow pressure vents were. This time, take the exit in the top right to reach the next screen. Follow this path until it forks. Follow the path up and left to go down a ramp into a lava field. Hug the top wall and go down to find the Miracle Gene (13:26). Now go right and hug the wall to find a chest containing Flame Talons (13:38). Run back to the left where you entered and immediately heal whoever was running in the lava as they will have 1 HP. Return to the initial fork here and go down to reach another fork. Head left to find a chest containing a Wisdom Fruit (18:00), then equip Ryu and Momo with a Dream Ring (if you haven't already), heal up and go to the right to find a strange old man and your next boss fight. Note, if you are lucky and got a Magma Armor to drop from a Vulcan, be sure to equip it on Ryu. 20:44 - Charybdis (Boss - 1,000 HP), Gisshan (Boss - 800 HP) & Scylla (Boss - 1,000 HP) While not required, I recommend using Charm and Stealing from each of these 3 bosses here. You will get Power Food from Charybdis and Scylla and a Magician's Rod from Gisshan. The hardest part here is learning Wall of Fire from Charybdis or Scylla while Gisshan confuses or tries to put your party to sleep. Once you have learned Wall of Fire, simply start to defeat the bosses 1 by 1. You can create Trygon with Ryu by using the Flame, Frost and Thunder elements in Ascension, which allows you to absorb fire damage and use Frost Breath to hit all 3 bosses. Take the bosses down in any order you wish, but just make sure you don't let your party stay confused for long. Follow the path to the next cave entrance after the fight, then go down the ramp. Move your camera angle around near the bottom to find a hidden chest containing a Life Shard (27:30), then exit the cave to continue.
