Bert Lown (from IMDB): Composer, songwriter, conductor and producer Bert Lown followed his high-school education by working in sales, then became a sales executive between 1921 and 1926, following which he organized his own theatrical booking office in New York into 1928. During the 1930s he led the Hotel Biltmore orchestra, and then led orchestras in hotels throughout the United States between 1934 and 1937, and many of these performances were carried over radio. During World War II, he toured South America as part of the Red Cross, the National War Fund, the United Service Organization (USO), British War Relief, and United China Relief. He was the New York State manager for the Committee for Economic Development between 1944 and 1946, and then joined Muzak as the vice-president and sales manager in its radio/television division. Joining ASCAP in 1942, his chief musical collaborators included Harry Link, Chauncey Gray, Dorothy Dick, Fred Hamm, David Bennett and Theo Turros, and his popular-song compositions include "Bye Bye Blues", "You're the One I Care For", "By My Side", "Tired", "I'm Disappointed in You", "My Heart and I", "Today and Tomorrow", and "Let Me Fill Your Day with Music”. Among others, he sang with the Freddy Martin Orchestra, the Fred Rich Orchestra, the Golden Gate Orchestra, and the Bert Lown and the Hotel Biltmore Orchestra. Feldkamp was also an accomplished saxophone player. In 1933 his own orchestra recorded the song "You're Getting to Be a Habit with Me" on the Crown label.
