There are different types of alopecia; the one that I have is called alopecia areate which means that usually, my hair (including body hair) falls out in a circular shape. Its basically my body not recognizing my hair follices as my own and therefore saying 'goodbye' to them. Some forms of therapy (like cortison injections etc.) show signs of success but it doesnt work for everyone unfortunately.
