Introducing new educational show - "Your Students Your Schools." You will get a closer look at San Luis Obispo County schools and the unique programs available to students. Program is also available by watching on Charter Channels 19 and 2. In this first program, County Superintendent, Dr. James Brescia, visits Atascadero Fine Arts Academy. This episode highlights the correlation between the arts and core subjects; including the confidence and self-esteem that are built through this kind of curriculum. The school is also unique because it includes 4th through 8th grade - a model proven to be beneficial to students. The show features interviews with students and staff and showcases students performing. Watch for Dr. Brescia teaching students a song in Italian!
