Hunter X Hunter: Analyzing The Hunter Exam

It’s been 11-12 years since I’ve first started Hunter X Hunter and had my first experience with the Hunter Exam, and this video will be sort of a retrospective of my reread of the Hunter Exam for the first time in a while. The Hunter Exam is the very first arc of Hunter X Hunter, and I watched it about 3 to 4x while growing up, I liked it a lot as a child compared to the other arcs of the series strangely enough, but didn’t care for it much as I grew up and moved on with my life. With that said, before anything else I want to establish that I was 11-12 years old when watching the remake of this series when it first came out, and I remember liking it so much that I’d go on to watch the older version of it just to get farther into the series, then go on to read the manga online. Keeping up with the series from there. It’s safe to say that, while I remember a lot of the more impressionable moments of the series, I do believe that my understanding of the characters and series of Hunter X Hunter are not all there currently. My perspective on stories have changed a lot as I’ve gone on with my life, read more, & started YouTube. So, I’ve decided to read through the story again in order to get a better understanding of it & the cast, and to be ready for the series return. With that said, in this video I’ll be providing my thoughts of the Hunter Exam, talking about the characters & arc itself, the things I like about it, and mentioning some things here & there about the manga, so there will be spoilers.
