Installing an afm/dod delete kit in a 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 5.3 liter gen 5 l83 v8. Additional tips: Ecu: When sending in your computer for retuning, make sure the speed limiter is not maxed out or else you will get an engine power reduced message. Chain tensioner: use the original ac delco tensioner and make sure the oil hole lines up as mentioned in the video. Vacuum pump: I would recommend replacing your vacuum pump if and when you have it off. It will end up being problematic later and is a little easier to replace if the engine is out. Oil pump: use oil pump alignment tools if removing your oil pump with the engine out. Install the tools before removing your pump, otherwise the pump must be replaced but realignment on a new pump is not necessary. I'll add other tips as they come up or as questions are asked.
