James Last - Under The Moon Of Love (1977)

The opening number from James Last's album Non Stop Dancing 1977/2, which was originally a hit for Showaddywaddy. In a departure from the normal practice of recording in Hamburg with his usual crew of musicians, Last recorded the band tracks in Los Angeles (with sax solos provided by Tom Scott), and the Non Stop party sound was overdubbed on March 29 1977 at CTS Music Centre in Wembley, England. The party included all of Last's English choir plus 20 members of the James Last Appreciation Society. The late Peter Boosey (secretary of the JLAS) took the black and white pictures seen in this video, which were published in the August/September 1977 issue of the society's bi-monthly magazine.
