How One Mega Mower and 7 Tractors Made 540 Silage Bales | Survival Farming | FS 25 | Timelapse #58

Welcome back to the Survival Challenge from $0 to $10 000 000. We’ve decided to upgrade our entire grass silage workflow, moving away from our old system for harvesting silage bales. First, we sell our self-propelled mower and invest in a new tractor paired with a trailed mega mower that has an impressive working width of 28 meters — nearly three times wider than our previous setup. To boost efficiency even more, we also purchase an additional set of equipment for baling, wrapping, and stacking bales, making sure every step of the process runs smoothly. Now, we have seven tractors working simultaneously. One tractor with the mega mower cuts the grass, while three more tractors handle the raking, baling, wrapping, and stacking of the bales, keeping the production line non-stop. To increase our grass silage production, we also bought an extra plot of land, expanding the area available for mowing and baling. Thanks to this upgraded system and larger working width, we produced 540 silage bales in today’s shift alone. Combined with our previous stock, we now have over 800 bales ready for storage or sale.
