Driving in Slovenia and Croatia: H6, H111 & D200 from Koper to Plovanija

In this video you can ride along on H6, H11 in Slovenia and D200 in Croatia from Koper to Plovanija. This is one of the possible routes one can take when travelling from Slovenia to the Istrian Peninsula in Croatia. There are alternative routes but in general a really viable international corridor is still missing. These problems become especially evident in the peak tourist season during the summer months. Koper is a small port city in Slovenia and is the place where the A1 highway ends. It continues a bit further as an expressway (H6) but then turns to the regular provincial road alignment. The Croatian A9 is also not fully built to the border with Slovenia and starts right outside of Plovanija.
